“The more attuned we become to the flesh God embraced and in which God dwells, exulting in its harmony, strength, and flexibility, learning how to bear its tensions and suffering gracefully, the more we glorify its Creator, the One who also chose to call it “home.” Being “spiritual” is not essentially a question of religious doctrines but of being very alive, very tuned-in and aware of the presence and movement of God’s Spirit in creation, in relationships, and within our own bodies, hearts, and lives. It is primarily a question of refining our inner and outer senses to the presence of the Holy, daily in our midst.”
