New Community ArtSpace provides classes, exhibitions and well-equipped studio space in the Shaw neighborhood. In the past 20 years, classes and workshops have been taught by an amazing group of volunteers who are passionate about their craft and excited to share their talents with others. These volunteer instructors are working artists and educators with years of experience.
In addition, the ArtSpace Exhibition Program has showcased the talent of the Shaw neighborhood and greater Washington DC area. The artwork addresses relevant issues, showcasing new talent and increasing exposure of both emerging and established artists.
