CoS affiliated ministries

Giving Tuesday is coming up on Dec. 1, and many of the ministries affiliated with Church of the Saviour have been hard hit by the pandemic. They are doing their best to continue to fulfill their missions in the community, and any amount you feel you can give now or on Tuesday to any of the organizations below will be meaningful and much appreciated. We may not be together in person but we can still support one another!

Donate to Bethany, Inc.

At this critical and difficult time, we need your support and generosity. COVID-19 has impacted us all in different ways, but its unprecedented impact means we need community more than ever.”

“As the pandemic continues to put our community at risk, we are making a difference by providing safe, loving housing and support for people with intellectual disabilities. Will you join us?”

Pay it Forward at The Potter’s House
www.pottershousedc.org

“Our Pay It Forward program allows anyone in need to come on in and get a free meal and coffee; it’s part of our mission of hospitality and unconditional welcome.

But these days, we’re overwhelmed by the demand. To give you a sense: in 2019, we gave away just over 1,000 free meals. By comparison, in the past two months alone, we gave away 1,715 meals. Pay It Forward has always been supported solely with small donations from individuals. We’re pursuing new grant funding, but those dollars take time to raise — and we need help now.”

Donate to Recovery Café D.C.
www.recoverycafedc.org

“Your gift to Recovery Café DC assists us in sustaining our vital operations, programs, and services as we respond to the increasing demand from people seeking to break the cycle of despair, homelessness, addiction, and other mental health challenges and transform their lives.”
