Carol Bullard-Bates and Kent Beduhn are hosting a fundraising dinner for the Museum of the Palestinian People which has been presenting exhibitions in D.C. and around the country for the past three years.
This is a moment in the history of Palestine and in the history of the U.S. where we must stand up and give the Palestinian people a voice. The U.S. continues to support Israel with billions of dollars each year in the oppression, killing and torture of innocent Palestinians who are seeking peace and justice in their land which has been and even now is being taken from them.
About the Museum
The Museum of the Palestinian People (MPP), is a 501(c)3 independent non profit organization based in Washington DC. The museum has been creating travelling exhibitions for the past 3 years and is in the process of opening a permanent space near DuPont Circle, Washington D.C. Their purpose is to create a breakthrough on how the world sees Palestinians, and the possibility of a future where Palestine is in people’s hearts. For more information, please visit mpp-dc.org.
The Progress
The Museum of the Palestinian People’s staff are developing architectural plans for the museum which will be located in the heart of Washington D.C. They have planned their initial exhibitions, activities, and programming for next three years. Guests of the dinner will be among the first audience to hear about these plans in detail.
Please come and join this important moment for the Museum and donate generously to this effort! We are requesting donations of $100 per person for the event. They have a goal of raising $200,000 by August 1, 2018!
